Basketball Eye Inc. ("we", "our" or "us"), respects privacy rights. This Privacy Statement governs Personal Information gathered by us through this BasketBall Eye™ website, at BasketballEye.com.
BasketBall Eye™ is a members only website. It is intended to be a social networking and multimedia tool for basketball players, teams, coaches and talent scouts by, for example:
- giving basketball players the opportunity to gain exposure by posting their profile so it can be seen by basketball players, teams, coaches, talent scouts from around the world,
- informing basketball players of upcoming events and other opportunities for exposure to basketball teams, coaches and talent scouts from around the world,
- giving basketball players the opportunity to network with other basketball players,
- giving teams, coaches and talent scouts a resource to search for talented basketball players using a wide range of criteria and references, and
- giving teams, coaches and talent scouts a forum to advertise upcoming scouting events.
At times, our services involve the handling of Personal Information.
Personal Information is information that uniquely identifies you, such as your name, address, email address, and telephone number.
Consent
We only collect, use and/or disclose Personal Information with consent. Consent may either be implied from the circumstances or may be expressly given for a particular purpose.
When you submit your Personal Information to us and post to our website, you are consenting to the collection, handling, use and disclosure of your Personal Information for the purposes identified or apparent at the time of collection and as otherwise described in this Statement.

Visitors to this website can see and search a summary profile for each basketball player. In particular, visitors can see each player's name, level (professional or amateur), gender, height, position, as well as his or her team and league.
Members of this website can see each basketball player's entire profile, including name, profile photo, gender, height, weight, wingspan, position, birthdate, nationality, country of citizenship and passport, professional or amateur status, league and team, as well as any photos, videos, and statistics.
(a) Collection of Personal Information from Basketball Players
We collect the Personal Information that you enter and share in your Profile, such as your name, gender, height, wingspan, basketball position, birthday, nationality, country of citizenship and passport, team, statistics, as well as videos of yourself playing basketball.
We collect Personal Information that you may enter or post on this website - for example, if you submit a testimonial, or post your picture to the gallery.
We also collect Personal Information that you may send or submit to us when you contact us by email, phone or mail – for example, if you give us feedback, a suggestion, or have a complaint or comment.
(b) Collection of Personal Information from Coaches
We collect information from team representatives, coaches and talent scouts ("Coaches") that use our services. Some of the information we collect from Coaches may constitute Personal Information of individuals acting solely in their business capacity.
(c) Collection and Use of Financial Information
We may collect and use financial information or payment method to process your payment for membership fees and any purchases or sales made on our website, to protect against or identify possible fraudulent transactions, and otherwise as may be reasonably needed to manage our business in connection with your membership or transaction.
(d) Avoiding collection from Children
We do not knowingly collect or maintain any Personal Information from children under the age of 13. In addition, no part of this website is designed with the purpose of attracting any person under age 13.
Use of Personal Information
We use Personal Information for the purposes for which it is submitted, such as, to display profiles, deliver messages between Coaches and basketball players, reply to emails, tell friends about our site, display pictures in our gallery, display testimonials, and process transactions.
The Personal Information that we collect may also be used in the following ways:
- to deliver services to our members,
- to give notice of and/or resolve any problems should they arise in connection our services,
- to better understand the needs and interests of our members,
- to analyze the success of our services,
- to customize the content on our site for our members current and future needs, and
- to customize our communications with our members.
We may use data collected through the site to conduct research on basketball recruitment trends. Our research may lead to the publication of aggregate data, but will not result in the reporting or publication of any Personal Information provided to us.
Opting in and Opting out
At certain points where Personal Information is collected on our site, there may be a box to indicate that you wish to receive certain information or communications. If you elect to receive information or communications from us, such as our newsletter, you can opt out at any time and request that your name be removed from the mailing list by contacting our Privacy Officer at Privacy@BasketballEye.com.

Members of this website are provided user names and passwords to access this website.

Basketball Eye™ (Basketballeye.com) has a "NO REFUND" policy.
It is the policy of Basketball Eye™ to allow full access to Membership services immediately after paying the Membership fee therefore, without any exception Basketball Eye™ enforces a NO REFUND policy.
Membership includes two (2) divisions;
- Player: You will be charged USD $99 yearly (or $9.99/month) to access the Basketball Eye™ site. (You must be at least 18 years of age and finished high school)
- Coach: You will be charged USD $199.00 yearly to access the Basketball Eye™ site.
If you signup before May 1, 2009 you will have free access until that date, and your credit card will be charged for a yearly membership on May 1st.
For this reason Basketball Eye™ strongly recommends that before payment our visitors:
- Read all information provided within the "privacy agreement" of Basketballeye.com
- Read all information pertaining to the services provided by Basketball Eye™
- Read all Credit Card information pertaining to "player" Membership sign-up
- Read all Credit Card information pertaining to "coach" Membership sign-up
- Do not allow children or other unauthorized family members or friends to access your credit cards or your account at the payment site to ensure that no one pays for a Membership without your permission.
By making a payment for Membership to our site, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to the above No Refund Policy.
