The 2010 Orlando Men’s Pro Combine was a terrific event for everyone involved. The sold out camp featured players from schools such as UCLA, Kansas State, Gonzaga, Bethune Cookman, Loyola University, and more. In addition, many players that attended the camp had played professionally in countries such as Greece, Germany, Portugal, Taiwan, and Mexico among others. “I was really impressed with the way WWPI & BE run their event”, stated one of the players Greg Taylor. “It was very professionally done, and I think everyone involved did a great job”. This high level talent was on full display all weekend long as players participated in rigorous sports performance training programs, on court basketball skill training, and full court game action. And the players all gave it their best as they played under the scouting eyes of international coaches throughout the camp. Coaches from Spain, Norway, Holland and Austria took part in scouting player all weekend long. These coaches from abroad fully enjoyed the experience and have even been in contact with several players from the camp that they hope to sign for next season.
“The experience of working with Winning ways Pro International and Basketball Eye, has been a very positive one. The combine was organized very well.”
Thomas Roijakkers – Holland (Eredivisie)
"These showcase camps run by Winning Ways Inc. and Basketball Eye provide players with an opportunity to compete for overseas playing jobs, and gives these players an insight into just how tough it is to battle for the precious playing spots around the globe."
Dan Mobbs – Norway (BLNO)
“The Orlando Pro Exposure Camp was simply great. I saw a lot of talent and lots of players who are good enough to play professional basketball in Europe. The best thing about the camp was how professionally everything was organized. I was really impressed by the fact that the Winning Ways staff really cared about the players and tried to teach them everything they need to succeed at the Pro-Level. I will definitely be back next year!“
Rene Brembock – Austria ( 2.Bundesliga)
“It's been a very interesting Combine, full of talent, coming both from players with experience in Europe and also from those looking for their first contract overseas. I will I'll review the on line games during the next weeks, which is another plus of this Pro-Combine. The organization was simply great, from the beginning until the end of the Combine.”
Raul Jimenez – Spain LEB Gold
The camp was a huge success for players, coaches and scouts and the WWPI/BE Staff was thrilled to have such a great event. “Our camp serves several purposes”, state WWPI’s Matt Resnick. “We always want players to gain exposure to teams throughout the world, but we also want every player that attends our camp to learn something. Whether it be something on the court, something about the business of basketball off the court, or something about their nutrition and dieting, teaching is a huge aspect of our program and we are confident that every player we worked with at this camp left learning more about the game. Having the coaches from Europe attend only enhanced the players’ exposure as well, and that is the most important thing about attending a WWPI/BE event.”
