After a rough start to his first professional season, Emanuel Willis has quietly turned into one of the most productive players in Denmark’s top division. Playing for Randers Cimbria, Willis has been dominating on both ends of the floor as his team has started to win at a more consistent clip. Willis has led Randers to a 3-4 record in their last 7 games. After starting the season just 2-12, their recent stretch is a vast improvement. In those last 7, Willis has nearly doubled his stats in every major category and is now ranked 6th in the league in rebounds per game (8.9) and third in the league in blocks, with an average of 1.6 per game. In fact, Willis has had two games in the last week where he pulled down 20 or more rebounds.  And his best game of the season came on January 23 as he scored 24 points and added 23 rebounds. Emanuel also chipped in with 3 blocks and 3 steals. It’s been a great stretch for the power forward and now he will look to continue his hot play with just 7 games remaining in the regular season. Next up for Willis and Randers will be a matchup with Aabyhog IF on January 30.
