Gini Grimsley, after completing successful run as a solid contributor in Germany’s top division, has returned to Europe to play for C.B. Conquero in Spain’s LF2 division…and she is already making the most of her 2nd go around in Europe this season.  Grimsley scored a career high 29 points in her opening game with C.B. Conquero.  Although her team was not able to pull off a victory, Grimsley performed exceptionally, knocking down shots from beyond the three point arc, and scoring inside as well.  Added for her versatility and scoring ability, Grimsley will now be counted on to lead her new team to a strong finish as the season beings to wrap up.  And Gini welcomes the challenge as she looks to continue her strong all around play through the end of the season.

Basketball Eye member, Velimir Radinovic, a 7ft. center from Ohio State, has signed with MBC in Germany’s top division for the remainder of the season.  MBC is hopeful that Radinovic will provide them with help on the defensive side of the ball as they push towards a possible berth in the league playoffs.  Germany is the 5th country that Radinovic has played in following a very successful career at Ohio State (NCAA D1 – Big 10 Conference).  He has made previous stops in Serbia, Greece, and France, while also participating in the NBA summer league in the United States.  Radinovic will look to finish the season strong as he catches on with his new team.
